The Equity Through Engagement Series of School Board presentations provides information to the Board and the community about the strategies and support systems WJCC is using to address equity. In recent years, WJCC has experienced an increase in economically disadvantaged students and English Language Learners. Additionally, the complexity of meeting the needs of students with disabilities, the under-representation of minority students in advanced classes and a disproportionality in discipline referrals are three challenges for WJCC.
