The Williamsburg-James City County School Board generally meets on the first and third Tuesdays of each month. Work Sessions are generally held on the first Tuesday of the month at 4:30 p.m. at Central Office. Regular Meetings are generally held on the third Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at James Blair Middle School. The School Board receives citizen comment during the Regular Meeting each month.

James City County members represent election districts, and city members are appointed by the Williamsburg City Council and serve at-large.
