A Day in Bright Beginnings
All Bright Beginnings classrooms include:
- Morning circle
- Breakfast and lunch
- Activities that support cognitive, social-emotional, adaptive, communication, fine and gross motor development.
- Whole group, small group, and individual instruction, students are developing literacy, phonemic awareness, mathematics and communication/language skills.
- Indoor and outdoor play
- “Choice time” (blocks/building materials, dramatic play, sensory exploration, science, art, writing, classroom library, math manipulatives, etc.)
Our students who are eligible for speech therapy, occupational therapy, and/or physical therapy work with our highly qualified therapists receiving services in both a classroom and therapy setting
Head Start is an additional option for your preschool-age child. The Community Action Agency operates Head Start, and they can be reached at (757) 229-9332 or visit their website.
