Black History Month Assembly 2016

BMS had an assembly in honor of Black History month. There were many student presentations about famous African-Americans, a performance from “The Lion King Experience” by the BMS Students and a presentation from Mr. Carl Ashby, School Board Chair for Newport News Public Schools, about setting goals and acting on them.

Thanks to BMS Teacher, Mrs. Stephanie Tomlinson for putting together this fantastic assembly for our school!IMG_4824IMG_4830IMG_4832IMG_4838IMG_4837IMG_4844IMG_4835
