National Junior Honor Society
Membership is by invitation only for 7th and 8th-grade students. Students receive an invitation to complete an application packet, after the first semester only if they have a combined grade point average of 3.5. A Faculty Council will then convene to review the applications and members will be chosen for induction at that time. Students interested in being a member of the NJHS should maintain high standards and qualities of academic excellence, integrity, citizenship, and leadership. Students are expected to volunteer. This must already be taking place regularly before joining the NJHS and will be continued after as well. For further information, contact Mrs. White.

Student Council Association (SCA)
Student Council is an organization conducted by students and supervised by adults. The purpose of the student council is to give students an opportunity to develop leadership by organizing and carrying out school activities and service projects. In addition to planning events that contribute to school spirit and community welfare, the student council is the voice of the student body. They help share student ideas, interests, and concerns with the school-wide community. For further information, contact Amanda Fay.
