Employment of education, training, and library occupations is projected to grow 7 percent from 2021 to 2031, about as fast as the average for all occupations.  About 658,200 new jobs are projected to be added. Including workers leaving the field, about 929,900 openings will occur each year.

The median annual wage for education, training, and library occupations was $57,220 in May 2021, higher than the median annual wage for all occupations of $45,760.
