This course enables the student to develop the ability to communicate about themselves and their immediate environment using simple sentences containing basic language structures.Students will actively participate in contextualized activities to improve all four language domains: listening, speaking, reading and writing – focusing on the ability to communicate orally and in writing.Emphasis is placed on comparing and contrasting the culture of German-speaking peoples with American culture.
