SOL Review with Drones

Drones were flown to review for upcoming SOL tests.

Thank you, WJCC Schools Foundation for your generous grant. With this grant, DJM Fourth and Fifth graders were able to use drones to review VA Studies and Science content for upcoming SOL tests. Students partnered up and tried their hand at Tic-Tac-Toe after answering review questions. Students who answered questions correctly flew the drones to mark their spot! The excitement in the halls of DJ Montague was tangible.

Second and Third grade students had the pleasure of learning from Author Angela Dominguez this week. She shared her passion for reading and drawing. Ms. Dominguez encouraged children to read, read, read, and to practice their craft. She engaged students as they helped  her create new characters and story starters. It was a real treat!
