Hello, Spider families,
Our break has come to an end! Tomorrow, we will welcome our Spiders back to the James Blair Middle School Web after two full weeks of what I hope was a time of rest and relaxation. We will refresh our Spiders with our 21 Days to the Spider Way procedures. These are the same body of procedures our students learned the first 21 days of school regarding safety, respect, and responsibility.
We would like to welcome two new teachers to James Blair. Mrs. Safia Elliott will be teaching 8th grade English as Mrs. Amanda Morris’ replacement and Ms. Raven Turner is moving into a long-term substitute position for Dr. Charles Skipper. We will truly miss Mrs. Morris and Dr. Skippers and are thankful for their time with our Spider family, but we are elated that Mrs. Elliott and Ms. Turner are joining us! Both of ladies will meet their classes tomorrow, 1/6/2020.
Please see the attached video from our few weeks before the holiday break with highlights of students, faculty, and staff Spider Highlights Before Break
Have a fantastic week!
On behalf of James Blair, Ms. Moore receives a $500 minigrant from Ms. Adolphi and Ms. Wade of the Williamsburg Chapter NSDAR. Ms. Moore is thankful for the support shown by Mr. Burkart and Mrs. Haskins and for the efforts of Mr. Legawiec, WJCC Social Studies Coordinator, whose communication and flexibility made this grant possible.
