Back in March, 16 Lois Hornsby seventh graders and 24 James Blair sixth and seventh graders presented their National History Day projects for judging at the District 6 Regional Virginia History Day competition held in Virginia Beach. A total of 30 WJCC students won 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place in their category and will compete at the state level on Saturday, April 29, in Richmond at the Virginia Museum of History and Culture.
We are very proud of all the students for their hard work, participation, and creative history projects!
