James Blair faculty and staff received five grants from the Williamsburg Community Foundation! Ms. Ashley Miller will purchase books for her ELL students in their own languages. Our school counseling staff, Ms. Pottle, Ms. Kuthy, and Ms. Kravitz, will be redoing the guidance office space to be a warm and welcoming environment for students. Ms. Jaclyn Miller will purchase equipment with which to grow and study plants with her science classes. Mr. Capers will purchase drones to use with the science and technology classes. Congratulations to our staff on winning these grants for their innovative ideas!

Don’t throw those worn out markers in the trash! Mrs. Kendall’s AEP classes are collecting used markers as a service learning project and will ship them to the Crayola company for recycling. Collection boxes have been place in the learning hub on each floor. To learn more about the recycling program visit https://www.crayola.com/colorcycle.
