Come and join the Foreign Film Club on Tuesday, November 15th after school in Room 220. We will be watching a Chinese martial arts film called Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. We hope to see you there.

The Fishing Club will be collecting money for T-shirts starting today November 10th. T-shirts are $14 and money should be given to Mr. Eames in room 234.

There will be a key Club meeting for all members Tuesday at 2:30 pm in room 225

Today is the blood drive.  Those signed up come to the auditorium during your scheduled time and be sure to bring a picture ID.  Thanks for giving the greatest of gifts, the gift of life!

Indoor Track will start today November 7th. Meet at 2:40pm on Monday on the track! For those interested you must have a current sports physical! Come out and try a great sport. We are looking for sprinters, jumpers, hurdlers, throwers, distance runners and vaulters!

For those interested in swimming, please attend practice before school, starting Wednesday the 9th. Contact Mrs. Sandling for questions.

Student tickets for the football game vs. York will be on sale today from 7:00am – 2:00pm in the main office. Tickets are $3.00 and you may only purchase one ticket. Only Jamestown High School students will be admitted with a student ticket- all others will be denied entry into the game. If you purchase tickets at the stadium, they will be $6.00 each.

The Boys Cross Country Team was Runner up for 4A East Regionals!  The boys ran a great race!  At Conference the boys tied Grafton and at Regions the boys were 31  points ahead of Grafton and only 12 points behind Midlothian. The boys All –Region runners were: Taylor Beall  – 7th, Calvin Hart  11th, Clarke Agnew  12th, Rylan Flint  13th. The Boys advance to the State meet next week at Great Plains, Virginia!

The girls Cross Country team placed 4th at Regions and advance to the state meet.  The girls who were All Region were: Thorin Jean -5th, Kirsten Long -8th, and Taylor Stutt -14th

The Boys and Girls both advance to the State meet next week at Great Plains, Virginia and will compete on Saturday, November  12th.
