Any Girl interested in playing soccer:  There will be an informational meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 1st @ 2:30 pm in the Lecture Hall.

Attention all freshmen, sophomores, and juniors interested in applying to the WJCC Honors Program… just a reminder that Mr. Lampert is now holding a workshop in computer lab 113, across the main hallway from the cafeteria, regarding the Honors Project.  Yes, now… during AEP.  If you are interested in applying this February and if your 1st block teacher will allow you, then come on down to the workshop

Please be advised, Security will be conducting Spring parking permit checks beginning next week.  Please expect parking delays. See Mrs. Deal in room 206 to obtain your Spring permit. If you do not have your permit displayed next week during the checks, you will be subject to disciplinary action.

Announcements for January 26, 2017

Sadie Hawkins Dance February 11th from 8 to 11 PM in the JHS gym.  The dance is for ALL JHS students, and a date request form for students from another school is available in the main office.  Tickets will be sold for $10 during lunches from Feb 7th to Feb 10th. The dance is being DJ by Ship Wrek.

Come to Moe’s for lunch Thursday after early release and support your Jamestown Model UN Team.  All you have to do is mentioned the team to the cashier and you’ll get a great mean and support the great team.  Tell your friends and family!!

Chick-fil-A Chicken Biscuits will be sold for $3 each in the school on Wednesday and Thursday between exams.

Spring semester parking permits are  on sale.  If you currently have a parking pass, you do not have to renew application, simply pay the $50 fee. If you purchased a FULL YEAR parking permit, those passes are ready for pick-up.  All students must have a new parking pass on the first day of the spring semester (January 31st) to be permitted to park.  If you do not obtain a Spring parking pass, you may NOT PARK ON SCHOOL PROPERTY.   Please see Mrs. Deal in room 206 to pick up applications or permits.

Attention any freshmen, sophomores, or juniors interested in applying to the WJCC Honors Program… Mr. Lampert will be holding a workshop for potential applicants on Tuesday, January 31, during AEP.  That’s the 1st day of 2nd semester, so it is up to your 1st block teacher whether you can attend.  If you may come down to room 113 during AEP on January 31, then you can expect some inside tips and hands-on help.  The winter deadline for applying to the Honors Program is February 14, so if you’re interested, then come talk to Mr. Lampert next to Guidance.

W!SE Students

Jamestown recently had three students earn a 100% on the W!SE Financial Literacy Certification Exam. Two of them are pictured above, junior Jackson Robertson and senior Elizabeth (Gabby) Kiser. These two students are also in the running of each earning $2,000 for their outstanding achievement on the exam.

Anyone interested in working on the backstage, technical, or creative crew for the Spring Musical should plan to meet with Mr. Stone on Monday from 2:30-3:15 in room 182. Stop by if you have questions or concerns.
