ALL SENIORS MUST turn in the SENIOR SURVEY by May 5th to the counseling office.

Jamestown seniors, can you believe that you have only two months left of high school?  That’s right, graduation is right around the corner.  Do you want to be one of two students selected by the school to speak at graduation?  Do you have something inspiring, moving, insightful, or otherwise valuable to share with all members of the graduating class of 2017?  Pick up a graduation speaker application in the main office.  Completed applications are due back in the main office today, April 28.  No late applications will be accepted.

Do you love preforming and being part of a team? If so, the Jamestown Color Guard is right for you.  Come down to the band room May 1st, 2nd and 15th from 2:30 to 3:45 for a clinic.  Hope to see you there.

Attention After Prom Prize winners: If you are the Junior who won the “2018 Prom Tickets”  at the After Prom, please bring the certificate in its envelope to Mrs. Miller in the Main Office for verification.  Hang onto the certificate and redeem it when tickets are being sold next school year for the event.

If you are the Junior who won the 2018 Year Book (1 winner), take your certificate to Mrs. Miller in the Main Office for verification and  redeem your certificate next fall with the Aerie (yearbook) sponsor, Mrs. Sharon Green.

Juniors and seniors, don’t miss the fun at this year’s Late Night Out/After Prom Party – Sat., April 22 at AMF Bowling Lanes, 11 pm – 2:30 am. There’ll be free bowling and plenty of free food, great prizes, games, and fun in the photo booth. Tickets are $15/person and will be on sale during lunches this Thursday and Friday and all next week. All juniors and seniors are welcome whether or not they attend Prom.

This week has been National Classics Week and the celebration of Rome’s 2,770th birthday. Today’s trivia question is : What does the motto of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry mean in English?  To win a prize, submit your answer in the Front Office or at the table outside the cafeteria before the end of school today. Happy Birthday, Rome!!
