Though we have started the year in a virtual setting, a few of our classes will need to distribute books to students. Hopefully, our students will return safely to JHS, and we will use the instructional resources we have in the building. However, for the students whose classes will need the additional resource of a text, they will receive a message from their teacher that a book is necessary. If you do not receive a message from your child’s teacher with regard to a textbook, you do not need to worry; that class will use online resources associated with the textbook or the curriculum.

Jamestown High School will distribute textbooks starting on Friday, September 25th as follows:

A – F – 8:00 to 9:30 AM

G – L – 9:30 to 11:00 AM

M – R – 11:00 to 12:30 PM

S – Z – 12:30 to 3:00 PM

Students will enter the building through the main entrance and walk the corridor to pick up books needed.  Stop by the doors near the bus loop, have books scanned by JHS staff then bagged and out the door they go.

Students who are not able to retrieve their books on Friday, September 25th can call the main office (757-259-3600) to make arrangements for the following week at their convenience.
