Announcements for June 6, 2017

Please congratulate the boys the Boys Outdoor Track team for a great team effort in being the 4A State Runner Up for Outdoor Track. Jordan Willis was state Champion in the 200meter, 400m and Long Jump! He also was state Champion in the 4 x 100m with the team of Darius Reed, Zach Pennycuff and Taylor Beau. The boys 4 x800m team placed 5th and were all state with the team of Clarke Agnew, Will Middlebrooks, Ben Keener and Peter Stiglitz. Darius Reed was all state 100m placing 4th. Zach Pennycuff was all state in the 200m placing 3rd  and Rylan Flint  was all state in the 3200 meter run placing 8th. Please congratulate  Clarke Agnew, Peter Stiglitz, Thorin Jean, Kirsten Long, Olivia Patrinicola and Lauren Connell, and  Mariella Smith for competing at the 4A state meet in individual events.

All Library books are now over due, please return them as soon as possible.

Model UN will have their year end meeting/celebration this Wednesday after school.

Attention students interested in joining Gang Green – we have our last meeting on Wednesday, June 7 after school in the cafeteria.  Please have your form and money ready to turn in!

During AEP, there  will be a meeting for all students enrolled to take AP Lang and Composition next school year.  We will discuss and handout the reading assignment for the course. The meeting will take place in the cafeteria.

Learn to Fly through the Williamsburg Aviation Scholarship Program. Applications and more information  are available through high school counselors, at the Williamsburg Jamestown Airport and online on the Jamestown webpage.  You could get your Private Pilot license.

Parking applications for next school year are now available on-line or students may pick up an application in the Main office or Mrs. Deal’s Office room 206.

Parking Registration begins June 1, 2017.

Parking permits will be available for pick-up for approved students beginning August 21st, 2017 OR  students may supply a self-addressed stamped envelope with their application and receive their permit by mail. Please obtain your permit application and complete the process prior to the first day of school and avoid the Fall rush!
