Juniors and Seniors that are interested in West Point to please sign-up in the counseling office for an information session this Friday during AEP.

The Bayport Credit Union is open everyday in the auditorium ticket booth during third block.  All NEW AND CURRENT student members will be entered into a drawing to win a parking permit and/or select gift cards!  ALL NEW and CURRENT staff members will also be entered to win select gift cards.  Drawings to be held Homecoming Friday, October 14.

There’s still plenty of time to enter the PTSA Reflections Arts contest. The theme is “What is Your Story?” and you can create an entry in one of 6 categories: dance, music, photography, video, visual arts, or writing. Contest information is on the school website and also in the main office. School winners in each category win a Target gift card! Entries should be turned in to the main office by Friday, Oct. 14.

If you are interested in joining FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), please plan to do so no later than Monday, October 3.  See one of the Business Teachers in Room 149, 151, or 152 for an application.

Are you interested in a career in Law Enforcement or just want to see what a Police Officer does on a daily basis?  Now is your chance by joining the Police Explorers Program.  This is an interactive and hands on program for high school students to experience the life of a Police Officer.  If you are interested in joining see Officer Ferriero for an application.

Attention NEHS prospective members – your applications are due in Office 214 by Wednesday, September 28 no later than 2:30. NEHS officers, our first meeting will be held in room 210 on Wednesday, September 28 after school.

If you’re interested in a career in the medical field, come to room 135 after school for an informational meeting Tuesday, October 4th for Jamestown’s first Medical Exploration Club.

Attention seniors interested in membership in the National Honor Society. If you have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or better, please see Mr. Meredith in room 238 as soon as possible for more information.

Hello Jamestown! Don’t forget to head down to Moe’s on Thursday, the 29th between 4:00 and 9:00. They will give 10% to “Jamestown’s Operation Smile” Help support a surgery for a child. Just say you are from Jamestown High. Remember Moe’s on Thursday! Come on down.

Homecoming t-shirts will be sold by presale during all lunches Monday, September 26th through Wednesday, September 28th. Each class will have their graduation year screened on the back with their class color. The price is $10.00.

Design our  homecoming t-shirt and win two free tickets to the dance!  Create a design that will be printed with white on a black t-shirt. Submissions should be made to Mrs. Sorrell in room 146 by Wednesday, September 28th. Be creative, and if your design is chosen you will get two tickets!
