Good morning Jamestown! Are you a graduating senior who took AP Spanish, French, Latin or German? Did you earn a score of at least a 3? If so, you are eligible to apply for the Biliteracy Seal on your high school diploma! Please visit the Counseling office to pick up an application. Completed applications are due back to your counselor by Friday, April 26. Please see your counselor or Miss Bailey with any questions.

Interested in a career in law enforcement?  Check out James City County Police Department’s Pathways to Law Enforcement program.  This program is open to Juniors and Seniors and is a preview into a career in law enforcement.  Topics covered include patrol, investigations, property and evidence, community services unit/crime prevention, SWAT, traffic unit, marine patrol, and more.  To find out more, pick up an application in the Counseling office. Applications are due no later than April 26th.

The school store will be open in its normal location for the remainder of the semester.

Jamestown’s student run credit union, Bayport, is open in front of the cafeteria on A days, during all 3 lunches. Make withdrawals and deposits right here. This is the last week to turn in completed O-Crew applications. They can be found outside rooms 210 and 229 and must be completed by this Friday! See Mrs. Poole, Mrs. Cater, or Mr. Williams with questions.

All Latin students who are applying for, or renewing, Honor Society membership have until Friday May 10 to complete their service hours. Mrs. Sharp also needs to see updated and signed service logs with current hours before Spring Break, so if you are not currently enrolled in Latin, please be sure to show Mrs. Sharp your log before leaving for vacation.
