JHS earns a silver medal in the Seat Belt Challenge for Drive Safe Hampton Roads

Jamestown High School participated in the annual Seat Belt Challenge for Drive Safe Hampton Roads sponsored by AAA Tidewater of Virginia.

Jamestown was one of 30 local high schools competing against each other in a friendly challenge to get out the word to buckle up every time you get in a car. Each school would accrue a predetermined  point value with every educational awareness activity they came up with or used.

Jamestown earned Silver medal status through student participation and the different activities done to earn a specific point level.

Sarah Buljat, Lilly Mecalf and Erika Pratt earned individual Silver medals with their extra participation with this challenge.

Congratulations to Jamestown for placing 2nd with 8 other schools in the Get it Together challenge during the 2017-2018 campaign.
