State Mandated Parent/Teen Driver Safety Presentations

State Mandated Parent/Teen Driver Safety Presentations

The WJCC Driver Education Department will host a series of three of these informative meetings to help facilitate varying parental schedules.  Attendance by a parent AND student to ONE of these meetings is MANDATORY.  This mandate was passed on to us by the Virginia Department of Education.  The purpose of this meeting is to reinforce vehicle safety considerations relative to teen drivers.  Our three high schools are driver licensing agents for the Commonwealth of Virginia empowered by the Virginia Department of Education.

There will be separate sign-in sheets for Warhill, Lafayette and Jamestown families on location at each of these presentations.   You do not need to attend a meeting at your home school, you may attend whichever is most convenient. Each presentation will run for approximately ninety minutes.  There will be opportunities for parental questions at the conclusion of the presentation.
