The holidays are coming and it is time for some yummy treats.  Celebrate by designing and printing a cookie cutter on the library’s 3D printers.  All designs are due by Tuesday, Dec 13th and voting will take place during lunches on the Tuesday, Dec 20th.  All participants will get to keep their cookie cutter and the winner will get a Barnes & Noble gift card.  Please visit the library for more information.

Photo retakes and make-ups will be on Thursday, Dec 8th from 9:00 – 11:00 am in the auditorium.  Any student that purchased pictures and wishes to have a retake should come to the auditorium during that time with their purchased picture package to turn in to Candid Color. Passes will be given for students who have not had their picture taken yet.

The ASVAB test will be given here at LHS on Tuesday, Dec 6th.  Please sign up in Ms. Kravitz’s office.  The deadline to sign up for the test is today.  If you have any questions, please see your counselor.

Model UN members: If you plan on attending the Model UN conference at ODU in January, your $5 deposit is due to Mr. Legawiec in room 312 by the end of school on Wednesday. 

Each year over 2,600 teens between the ages of 13-19 die in automobile collisions, 81% of teens killed in automobile collisions were passengers.  Whether you are driving or riding, remember to always wear your safety belts.

Members of the German National Honor Society: There will be a meeting today in room 628 right after school. This meeting is mandatory for all current GNHS members, especially seniors.

Tickets for Friday night’s playoff game against Grafton will be on sale in Coach Linn’s office today and Friday during all 3 lunches.  The cost is $4 in advance and $8 at the gate.

It’s time to stuff the cruiser!  Let’s support the James City County Police Department’s Stuff the Cruiser Thanksgiving Food Drive. The first block class that brings in the most canned food items will receive a free breakfast.  In addition, we are in competition against Jamestown and Warhill High School for the most canned food items donated.  Let’s win, and help feed people in need this Thanksgiving!
