Sign up for Lafayette’s first 3 on 3 Basketball tournament taking place on Tuesday, May 2nd during 2nd block through AEP.  Teams must include 1 girl and 1 boy and the cost is $5.00 per team member.   Sign-ups will take place during all 3 lunches through Monday, May 1st.  Slots are filling up fast.  Don’t want to play, you can purchase a spectators ticket for $1.00.  There will be prizes for the top 2 teams and best team jersey.  All proceeds will go to help support the homeless in our community.

Would you like to join the LHS Theatre Team?  You can audition for Class One Acts, no experience necessary.  Auditions will be held on Monday, May 1st for Sophomores and Seniors and Tuesday, May 2nd for Freshman and Juniors.  Come to the Black Box Theatre – room 623 after school to audition.

Come and join the history on film club for popcorn and drinks for “Paths of Glory” on Tuesday, May 2nd at 2:30 in the lecture hall.

Student leaders – if you are interested in running  for LHS SCA for the 2017-2018 school year applications are available in the main office through Wednesday, May 10th.  Applications are due to Mr. Downs by Friday,  May 12th.

Are you interested in Special Olympics?  Do you like being a Buddy?  Then participate in “The Exceptional Games” at Jamestown High School on Thursday, June 8th.  If interested please see Kristine Smith in room 418 to apply.

The VASTAR computer refurbishment group will  meet today in room 104 immediately after school.  If you have any questions please see Mr. Aadahl in room 104.

Need a good reason to walk-out of your 4th block class today?  Join Lafayette’s 6th annual Walk-Out for the Cure.  Tickets are $1 and will be on sale today during all lunches.

Come out tonight and support our PTSA for LHS Spirit night at Menchies located in Settler’s Market from 4:30-9:00 pm. A portion of the proceeds will come back to our school. Please mention that you are with Lafayette.

Tomorrow is the last day of Spring Fever Spirit Week – the theme is Hawaiian shirt. Remember that school rules and the dress code still apply.
