Come support your Lady Ram Field Hockey teams as they play Warhill this evening – JV at 5:30, and Varsity at 7:00. Please bring a monetary donation and/or a non-perishable item to help the recent hurricane victims.

Preseason workouts for basketball begin TODAY, from 5:30 – 7 pm in the gym. There will be a second workout on Saturday, Sept 16th, from 8:30 – 10 am. Workouts are open to all students regardless of grade level. Please wear apparel appropriate for basketball.

National Honor Society Members – This is a reminder that your nominations for officers are due to Madame Collins by tomorrow, in room 300. Also, our meeting is on Monday, September 18th, in the Lecture Hall from 2:30 – 3:30.

Friday’s Varsity football game vs Warhill will be a white out!  Make sure you wear white to show your support for RamNation.  Since it is an “away” game for us, tickets will be $6.00 at the gate. Also, be on the lookout for new Pep Club t-shirts coming soon!

Then come break down walls and be a part of the Ram wrestling family! Preseason wrestling starts Tuesday, September 19. Meet in the lower commons right after school.

The Love is Love Club, which is Lafayette’s LGBTQ+ organization, will have their first meeting on Tuesday, September 19th, in room 302. Please see Mr. Bellido for more information.

Imprint, Lafayette’s Literary Arts Magazine, will hold its first meeting on Tuesday, September 19th, in room 103 right after school. Please see Mrs. Bahl-Moore if you have any questions.

Join Operation Smile, a service based organization that offers life changing surgeries for cleft lips and cleft palates. The first meeting is on Wednesday, September 20th, at 2:30 in the black box theatre, room 623. See Mrs. McCorry with any questions.

The first meeting of the Gaming Club will be Wednesday, September 20 at 2:30 in room 112. All are invited! There is a $5 membership fee. Please see Mr. Downs for more information.

Would like to share your ideas about what students would like to see take shape at Lafayette? Do you like to give input on different trends happening across the world? Want to work closely with other students at your school and to have an impact, both academically and socially? If so, Dr. Nunnally is seeking students to serve on her Principal’s “RamPride” Advisory Committee. Applications are now available in the main office and during lunch.  Application deadline is Thursday, September 21st.
