All after school Earth Science Tutoring Students please report to Mr. Horne in room 317 at 2:25 today.

Attention Juniors & Seniors – Prom tickets will be on sale through Friday, May 8th. Tickets will be sold on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays during all three lunches.  The cost is $25 per person, checks need to be payable to LHS.  All guests that are not Lafayette students need to have a “Date Request Form” approved before their ticket can be purchased.  Date Request Forms are located in the Main office.

After Prom will be held at AMF Bowling this year, tickets will be on sale through Friday, May 8th.  Tickets will be sold on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays during all 3 lunches.  The cost is $15 per person OR $12 per person with the purchase of a prom ticket.  There are great prizes this year including two tickets to Taylor Swift and two tickets to Fallout Boy/Wiz Khalifa/Hoodie Allen and much, much more.  Buy your After Prom tickets by Monday, May 4th and enter to win a free boutonniere, corsage and dinner at Berret’s Seafood.

The History on Film Club presents Shooting Dogs on Wednesday, April 29th at 2:30 in the Lecture Hall.

Attention SENIORS, as graduation approaches, it is time to think about the words of wisdom you would like to share with your classmates, families and friends. If you are interested in speaking at this years’ graduation ceremony, please visit the LHS Home page for the link to the application or stop by Mrs. Newcomb’s office to pick one up. All applications are due by 2:20pm on Friday, May 1st. We look forward to hearing your ideas.

Open gym for anyone wanting to play volleyball will be on Wednesday evening from 7:00 – 8:30pm here at LHS.  We will hold open gym on Mondays and Wednesdays until school ends. 

Students do you find yourselves hungry in the morning and lunch is still hours away?  Well feel hungry no longer, you will be able to buy fresh homemade brownies each morning in the upper commons during the transition from 1st to 2nd block. The cost is only $1.00 for a fresh homemade brownie, so just look for the cart with the bright yellow sign and remember to help LHS by keeping the halls clean and placing all trash in the trash bins.

Calling all food lovers who like to cook and eat.  Please join Mrs. Carter and Mrs. Channing for our 3rd annual “Cooking Club” classes.  We have changed the day to Thursday, April 30th so that more students can join in on the fun.  We will be meeting at 2:30 in room 417 and will be making a special dish that we know you will love.

Current National Honor Society members are reminded to turn in their Service Logs to Ms. Scott on Thursday, April 30th.
