Attention Spanish Honor Society Members we will have our spring meeting today immediately after school in room 302. 

Key Club will meet after school today in room 311.

Gaming Club there will be a mandatory meeting today at 2:30 in room 112.  No Excuses 

Calling all food lovers who like to cook and eat.  Please join Mrs. Carter and Mrs. Channing for our 3rd annual “Cooking Club” today at 2:30 in room 417.  We will be making a special dish that we know you will love.

Lit Mag will meet after school Thursday, April 23rd at 2:30 in room 102.

Seniors & JuniorsSentara College of Health Sciences will be here on Thursday, April 23rd from 10:00 – 11:00am in the Counseling department.  Riverside School of Health Careers will be here on Wednesday, April 29th from 10:00 – 11:00am in the Counseling department.  Students interested can sign up in the green book on the door of room 622, Career Coach’s office.

Attention Juniors & Seniors – Prom tickets will be on sale Monday, April 27th through Friday, May 8th.  Tickets will be sold on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays during all three lunches.  The cost is $25 per person, checks need to be payable to LHS.

After Prom will be held at AMF Bowling this year and tickets will go on sale Monday, April 27th through Friday, May 8th.  Tickets will be sold Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays during all 3 lunches.  The cost is $15 per person OR $12 per person with the purchase of a prom ticket.  There are great prizes this year including two tickets to Taylor Swift and two tickets to Fallout Boy/Wiz Khalifa/Hoodie Allen and much, much more.

The History on Film Club presents Shooting Dogs on Wednesday, April 29th at 2:30 in the Lecture Hall.

Did you know that 1 in every 6 Americans go hungry every day?  You can help to solve this problem.  Bring in nonperishable food items to your 1st block class to win a class breakfast.  Collection dates run through Tuesday, May 5th.   Help stock the food bank shelves in our community. It’s time to make a difference in your world.

Attention SENIORS, as graduation approaches, it is time to think about the words of wisdom you would like to share with your classmates, families and friends. If you are interested in speaking at this years’ graduation ceremony, please visit the LHS Home page for the link to the application or stop by Mrs. Newcomb’s office to pick one up. All applications are due by 2:20pm on Friday, May 1st. We look forward to hearing your ideas.
