Lafayette High School serves Williamsburg and James City County Virginia. Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown Settlement, The College of William and Mary, Busch Gardens, Anheuser-Busch InBev Brewery, Williamsburg Pottery, and Ball Metal Containers are located in the two jurisdictions.
James City County, America’s oldest is among Virginia’s fastest growing counties. Williamsburg, founded in 1699, is one of America’s first planned cities. While retaining its rural character, the area is quickly becoming suburban with its own economic base. The county is centrally located between Richmond and Norfolk.
Lafayette’s mission is to educate its diverse population, providing our students with the tools to become knowledgeable, productive, and resourceful members of a global society.
