Kindergarten and first graders will practice underhand rolling and tossing skills, continue to work on locomotor movements, such as skipping, galloping, and jumping, and will get their first practice on the Rawls Byrd climbing wall!
Second and third graders will practice kicking skills, including dribbling, passing, and trapping. Students will be introduced to the PACER run, a fitness measurement for cardiorespiratory endurance, and they will continue to learn about heart health.
Fourth and fifth graders will complete all five of their personal fitness measurements. They will also practice their kicking skills, focusing on integrating the skills into small sided games and modified sports activities.
All students will focus on personal responsibility and work ethic.
