The more than 163 people who were signed up to participate in the Matoaka Dad’s Fire and a Flick camp-out didn’t let a brief downpour ruin their good time! After the rain abated everyone dashed outside to witness the amazing rainbow that got the evening off to a beautiful start! Thanks to the Matoaka Dads who put together such a wonderful event for our school community!

Mission Possible!

School counselors Destiney Harris and Rob Hill guided student “agents” in grades 3-5 through a super secret Mission Possible to prepare for their upcoming SOL tests. Each student was given a dossier with clues and had to locate and use information found around the school to complete their missions – which everyone successfully did!
