My name is Melanie Cooke.  I was born and raised in Williamsburg, VA.

I graduated from Campbell University (in Buies Creek, NC) in 2004 with a degree in Psychology.  In 2006, I went to the College of William and Mary and received a Master’s Degree in Special Education in 2008.

I taught at Lafayette High School, Warhill High School, and Clara Byrd Baker Elementary School, before coming to Matoaka in the fall of 2010.

My husband’s name is Stephen and we have a cockapoo named Hannah.  I love to travel and take my dog for long nature-trail walks.
