During the month of March 4th and 5th grade students will participating in their second round of fitness testing for the year. Goals have been set based off of fall scores and students are gearing up to match or beat their previous scores improving their fitness! Mrs. Gibson has given them a little extra encouragement to try and beat HER scores too! If you can beat Mrs. Gibson’s scores on any of the 5 fitness test she will give you an award!

Being a safety patroller is a huge honor. But it’s not all unicorns and rainbows. It takes responsibility too. You also need patience, because some kids are harder to handle than others. So that takes a lot of practice and patience. Some people think safety patrol is a piece of cake but no, no, no. It’s, in fact, far from that. If you’re safety patrol outside, like us, you must be prepared to stand outside, where it’s cold and sometimes raining. And you must be there slightly early, so that the captains can check your name on the safety patrol attendance list. If you are indoors, you must be aware that some people like to linger and talk to friends. So, ask them nicely to go to class. That’s probably it! So, all safety patrollers remember to SOAR!
