Kid Pan Alley Songwriting Residency with Second Grade!

Our second graders participated in the 2019 Kid Pan Alley Songwriting Residency! They did some major brainstorming, voting, re-writing, more voting, finding rhythm schemes of lines, developing melodies, and recording! All of this happened in one 45 minute session with Paul Reisler (Artistic Director, and Founder), and Cheryl Toth (Executive Director)! Our Matthew Whaley students were so respectful of everyone’s voice, and creative in this residency. What a fortunate experience for our second grade crew!

We Had Another Successful Strawberry Festival!

We had another successful Strawberry Festival! Many of our MW alumni, families, and friends of the community joined us in games, auctions, inflatables, karaoke jams, dunk tank excitement, and so much more! The weather was beautiful and the food was delicious. THANK YOU TO OUR FANTASTIC PTA AND EVERYONE INVOLVED IN THIS EXCELLENT TRADITION!
