Mrs. Armbruster and her future astronauts learned all about Mae Jemison and her achievements for black history month. They made rockets and pretended to go space!
Mrs. Schrack’s first graders received a visit from Mr. Otstot, a Matthew Whaley parent. He shared awesome information about being a triathlete. Then, they learned all about Arthur Ashe and made tennis rackets!
Mrs. Watkins first graders and Ms. Carroll’s fourth graders celebrated St. Patrick’s day with a little STEM! They worked together to build a rainbow bridge that could hold the most coins and mazes in which they timed their selves getting the marble through them. We love working together as a team!
Our third graders showcased their annual leprechaun traps on Friday to model simple machines!

There were engaging projects created by our students, make and take games, exercising with SHIP, and nutritiously delicious food presented by Mrs. Brown. We love spending time with our Patriot families!

Prior to his arrival, third grade made a community action poster, wore “MW Energy Team” badges created by Wendy Lucy, and surveyed first floor energy use by checking all rooms several different times a day to see if […]
