Norge Running Club Completes the Sentara Sleighbell 5K

The Norge Running Club completed the Sentara Sleighbell 5k on Saturday, December 13th.  Students wore their jingle bells as they ran the race after many weeks of practicing after school.  Racer, the Norge Roadrunner mascot, came to cheer on the team and many additional staff joined in the race to support our school and the SHIP program.  Way to go Roadrunners!

Norge Sisters Donate 115 Boxes of Band-Aids to the Clinic

A big Roadrunner thank you to sisters Jesse and Christine along with their friend Emily for their generous donation of 115 boxes of character band-aids to the Norge Clinic.  The girls hope that the fun band-aids will help students heal faster of their injuries.  All of our Norge students will enjoy this useful gift.

PTA Spaghetti Night was a Success!

The Norge PTA hosted a free spaghetti night dinner in the Norge cafeteria on December 2nd.  Over 250 people came and ate dinner together.  Christie Snow, Norge cafeteria manager and parent, used fresh herbs from our school garden in the spaghetti sauce.  The spaghetti dinner is fully funded by all of the other PTA Spirit Nights that we have throughout the year.  It is fun every year to bring our Roadrunner community together for this event!
