Here Is How:
Step 1: Read any 8 books and record them in the provided reading journal
Step 2 : Bring the completed Reading Journal to your local B&N store.
Step 3: Choose a FREE BOOK from our selection on the Reading Journal list at the store… Enjoy reading!
Beginning with SOL testing this May, students in grades 3-8 will now be able to retake any non-writing SOL exam if their score is between 375-399. A score of 400 is passing.
After testing, families of students who scored within this range will be notified and provided additional details. For a student to retake an exam, the parent/guardian must provide verbal or written consent.

Betty Cutts of Woman’s Club of Williamsburg presents Tuesday Tucks Me In to Mrs. Koenig as a donation to the Norge library.
Mrs. Blaylock promised her students that they could dump a bucket of water on her if they increased their practice scores leading up to the SOL tests. On Friday, May 8th she held true to her word – her students proved they were ready for SOL testing and dumped a bucket of ice water over her head. Way to motivate your students!
Ms. Natter and Ms. Wilcoxson’s classes invited their moms to school on May 8th to get pampered at a Mother’s Day Spa. The moms received a hand lotion treatment and massage, got their nails painted, did yoga, and made smoothies.

Mrs. Schmidt’s 4th grade class reviews Virginia History with our Norge Media Specialist, Mrs. Koenig. They made a life-sized timeline with information that they have studied throughout the year in their classrooms.
