norge walkathon 2018

PTA Walkathon 2018 is a Success!

Students walked laps during their centers time on Monday, October 29 for the annual PTA Walkathon!  Racer the Roadrunner walked laps and danced to the music.  Students were marked for each lap by their monster centers teachers and parent volunteers.  Thank you to everyone that donated to our school, and thank you to our PTA for everything you do to make Norge the best place for students to learn!

Positive Office Referrals

This 4th grader got sent to the principal’s office! But–for doing something GREAT! This year, Norge Elementary School started Positive Office Referrals.  Students who make good choices can earn a positive referral that tells what awesome behavior they showed that aligns with our school’s TRACKS values of being Trustworthy, Respectful, Attentive, Cooperative, Kind and Successful. He called his father to share the wonderful news!

Safe Routes to School at Norge

Safe Routes to School sponsored “Walk to School Day” on Wednesday, October 10, 2018.  Several of our Norge students met and walked to school from home or a meeting place carrying a banner that read “Safe Kids.”  Thanks to the parents and volunteers that promoted and supervised this healthy and safe alternative to cars and buses.
