Is your family ready for the first day of school on Monday, August 30? We can’t wait to see those big yellow buses on the road and our students in classrooms. Here are a few important reminders:

  • Students must wear a mask indoors at school unless they are eating, drinking, or playing an instrument.
  • Families should use the WJCC Schools Symptom Checker each day to monitor their child’s wellness before sending them to school.
  • Water fountains are turned off, so students should bring a refillable water bottle to school.
  • Families of kindergarten students should ensure their new bus identification card is attached to the child’s backpack. Bus drivers scan the cards as kindergarteners enter and leave the bus to help ensure they are getting off at the correct stop. Parents must show the bus driver the matching ID card to receive their kindergarten student from the bus in the afternoons.
