Celebrating Our Teachers of the Year

Williamsburg-James City County Schools commits to inspiring, coaching, and instilling a love of learning in students. WJCC Schools is pleased to announce the following level teachers of the year, representing extraordinary educators at each level.

  • Sarah Rapach, music and chorus teacher at D.J. Montague Elementary School: Elementary School Teacher of the Year
  • Tameka Glover, special education-inclusion teacher at Toano Middle School: Middle School Teacher of the Year
  • Lyn Whitt, English as a second language teacher at Jamestown High School: High School Teacher of the Year

From among these stellar educators, Sarah Rapach was named WJCC Schools’ Division-wide Teacher of the Year.

Our teachers coach, inspire and educate students every day, helping infuse a passion for learning and dreaming big. Our teachers make a difference in students’ lives by imparting an enduring drive to learn.
