Colonial Williamsburg Foundation and the larger community will come together to cheer on the Class of 2021 as they drive through the past to begin their future. Seniors are invited to decorate their cars for a special procession down Duke of Gloucester Street. The parade will stream live on the WJCC Schools Facebook page June 15-17 at 5:30 p.m. The following guidelines will be in place:

  1. Students should plan to arrive at the staging area at Matthew Whaley Elementary School 30 minutes before the procession.
  2. Each graduate is permitted one car.
  3. No limos, large vans, guests in truck beds, etc., will be allowed.
  4. There is no limit on the number of people in the vehicle; however, every passenger must be wearing a seatbelt. Appropriate child safety seats or restraint devices are required for passengers ages seven and younger.

Closer to the event, each graduate will receive one guest parking pass for a nearby lot in Colonial Williamsburg. Families who wish to have dinner before or after the parade may wish to visit a location in Colonial Williamsburg or Merchants Square.
