As outlined by the Virginia Department of Education, a division’s Family Life Education Community Involvement Team (CIT) should be comprised of individuals such as division and school leadership, teachers, parents, a School Board member, member(s) of the clergy, member(s) of the medical profession, and other community representatives.

WJCC Schools seeks diversity in its Community Involvement Team, both in the stakeholder categories as described above, and in the connection to its schools and grade levels. Interested individuals should be able to commit to monthly CIT meetings from October-February, plus additional subcommittee meetings and resource review as assigned.
