All schools and offices will be closed to the public during winter break (Dec. 21 – Jan. 3).  As a reminder, all students will learn remotely the following week, Jan. 4-8.

Grab and Go Meal Schedule Adjustment

“Grab and Go” Meals will be available for pickup on Dec. 21 and Dec. 28 from 8 – 11 a.m. These are the only two days that meals will be available during Winter Break. Students will receive meals for the duration of the school closure. Meals can be picked up at James River Elementary School, Toano Middle School, James Blair Middle School, and Matthew Whaley Elementary School.

Heroes of Hope

As 2020 comes to a close, we are pleased to recognize and celebrate our December Heroes of Hope who go above and beyond to engage and support students, their families, and one another.

Selena Chamblee, Berkeley Middle School
She embodies the spirit of a Hero of Hope for so many students whose family situations are impossible for most of us to contemplate.

John Gulick, Warhill High School
He is the teacher to speak up when he notices that something is wrong.

Jennifer Stanley, James Blair Middle School
She is the lifeblood of this school and serves as the backbone of our success.
