COVID-19 Mitigation Protocols
Due to inclement weather in the forecast, the Special School Board meeting originally announced for Friday, January 21 was rescheduled and held on Thursday, January 20 at 12:30 p.m. at Central Office in Annex Room 300. The sole agenda item was Executive Order Two (2022) and SB1303 (2021). Please refer to the update related to the division’s COVID-19 prevention efforts.
Apply Now: 2022-2023 WJCC Schools Virtual Academy (Grades 6-12)
The WJCC Schools Virtual Academy is a 100% online learning option for students entering grades 6 – 12 during the 2022-2023 school year. Virtual Academy will not be offered for elementary-age students. Classes are led by WJCC Schools teachers and include core subjects, electives, special education services, and Advanced Placement (AP) courses. Learn more by reading this Virtual Academy article.
Please note, students are selected for Virtual Academy through an application process. Once enrolled, students are committed to online learning for the entire school year. Applications are available by logging in to your ParentVUE account and must be submitted by Wednesday, January 26.

Teacher workdays are an important part of student achievement and success. While students are away, teachers will plan, collaborate, and work to deliver the best learning opportunities for all students.
Register for Courses Your Rising 6-12th Grade Students Will Take During the 2022-23 School Year
Middle and high school students and their families can make course selections in either ParentVUE or StudentVUEnow for the next school year. Registration will continue through February 8, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. Students and families should work with their current school counselor to register for courses for the 2022-2023 school year.
