Become an expert on playground mulch, non-toxic cleaning supplies, lactose-free milk, various nut-free butters and writing letters to families that address their concerns about all of the above.

What did you want to be when growing up?

Teacher, veterinarian, writer, lawyer, Olympic gymnast and, let’s be real, independently wealthy.

What was the first concert you attended?

MC Hammer and Vanilla Ice. For the record, seeing live music was my college hobby, still is, so my concert experiences have come a long way since my Hammer days.

What superpower do you wish you had?

Invisibility.

What do you do in your spare time?

My two boys, husband and I enjoy doing all things outdoors. We love to backpack, hike and travel to National and State Parks. We love our summers in New England living in a tent. However, my husband is a teacher so we spend a lot of time during the week daydreaming about our role in making the world a better place for kids.
