If your family or another family you know of needs access to the internet, there are three local options. One is a WJCC MiFi (mobile Wi-Fi hot spot) that can be requested by contacting a student’s school’s main office. The second is schools’ WiFi network have been expanded to school parking lots. The last is Cox Cable’s Connect2Compete. The program allows households participating in a government assistance program with at least one K-12 student to apply to get internet for $9.95 a month.
