The new school year brings new vaccination requirements for students. For example, kindergarteners must now have two doses of the Hepatitis A vaccine. Other changes impact students in first, seventh, and twelfth grade. The Virginia Department of Health has information and answers to frequently asked questions.
WJCC Schools is partnering with Olde Towne Medical and Dental Center for four school-required immunization clinics. Clinics are open to families with students in any grade K-12.
August 12th at Lafayette from 10 am – 12 noon
August 16th at Toano Middle from 1:00 pm – 3:00 PM
August 17th at James Blair Middle School from 10 am – 12 noon
August 18th at Hornsby Middle School from 10 am – 12 noon
Families should bring a completed consent form (English) (Spanish) with them to the clinic.
