Matthew Whaley’s School Health Initiative Program’s (SHIP) Walking Adventure Club members have a new role: Safe Routes to Schools Ambassadors. In this club, led by Ms. Stephanie Carroll and Ms. McFatridge, students enjoy walking through Colonial Williamsburg while learning about the rich local history. In their new role, Walking Adventure Club members will model and share pedestrian safety tips with their friends while on their walking adventures as well as while walking to school as part of the Walk and Roll Incentive program.

Join them on Matthew Whaley’s next Walk/Bike to School Day on November 27, 2018, at Williamsburg Regional Library’s fountain 8:45 am – 9:00 am for an early morning walking adventure. Williamsburg Regional Library is located at 515 Scotland Street.
