The School Board approved an adjustment to the 2023-2024 Academic Calendar and approved the 2024-2025 Academic Calendar on Tuesday, October 17.  The last day of school for the 2023-2024 school year is now Thursday, June 13. An updated calendar is available here. Plans for celebrating the Class of 2024 will be shared directly with families of graduates in the coming weeks.

Recommendations for the 2024-2025 academic calendar are the work product of the WJCC Schools Calendar Committee which works within guidelines shaped by state law, district policy, employee contracts, and established practices, including:

• 180 student attendance days
• Strategic placement of student holidays / staff Collaboration, Learning, and Planning (CLP) days throughout the year
• Ample break at winter holiday
