For the love of reading! Summer school students receive free books
Owning books can make a big difference in children’s attitudes about reading and their reading skills. That’s what makes the summer book fair so exciting. During this two-week summer school special event, elementary and middle school students choose a free book to keep as their own. This annual outreach made possible by the generosity of Williamsburg Regional Library and Friends of Williamsburg Regional Library encourages students to discover a love a reading.
