It’s a bird. It’s a plane. It’s a boat? Students at J. Blaine Blayton Elementary School learned about flying from the Virginia Department of Aviation experts. The thrilling session not only put students into the cockpit of a unique amphibious aircraft that can land on water or a traditional runway, but students also learned about physics, motion, and careers.
