Community rates of respiratory illnesses remain high. Common symptoms of flu and other respiratory illness are: fever, chills, congestion, coughing, sneezing, sore throat, runny nose, headache, fatigue, shortness of breath, and body aches. To help stop the spread of illness, wash hands frequently, cover coughs and sneezes, get the flu shot, and keep children home when sick.
