Program Goal: to provide students in grades 9 – 12 who passed a class but did not pass or did not take the corresponding end-of-course Standards of Learning (SOL) test.
To achieve the highest level of preparation possible, attendance is mandatory and a requisite for retesting.
Each day will focus on the different reporting categories and elements of the SOL test in a blended learning model that involves working directly with the teacher, independent review, and practice on the computer.
Session A students will test on July 18 for Writing (the writing SOL will involve two days) and July 19 for Math
Session B students will test on August 1 for Reading (non-writing SOL tests only) and August 2 for Math
Retests and/or make-up testing for Session A will be on August 2 (Warhill High School). Session B retakes will re-test at their home school in August.
Eligible students must register with the School Improvement Specialist (SIS) at their school between the dates of May 7 – June 21, 2018.
Students that have not registered by June 21 must register Monday – Thursday, June 26 – July 3, from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the Warhill High School Summer Program Office.
Rising 9th grade students that have passed the class but not the SOL will need to register with the SIS of their feeder school.
